The City of Rockwall has contracted with Estrada Concrete to make pavement repairs to the section of Woodcreek Drive which is located near the intersection of Ralph Hall Parkway. The repair will include removing and replacing the damaged section of concrete street pavement.
The pavement removal and repair process should take 1 day. Upon completion, the new concrete pavement must cure for a minimum of two days to develop sufficient strength to support traffic loads. The complete process should take approximately 3 days pending any weather delays. During this time, the intersection of Woodcreek Drive at Ralph Hall Parkway will be closed to through traffic.
Construction is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, July 11. The project should be completed with the intersection re-opened to through traffic on Friday evening July 13, 2012.
The City will coordinate with Allied Waste and normal pickup schedules for garbage and recycled items will be maintained.
All residents will have access to their driveways and garages during the construction process; however as previously noted the street will be closed to through traffic.
The recommended alternate route for accessing Ralph Hall Parkway from Woodcreek Drive will be Rockwall Parkway to Westwood Drive.
